As it is New Year, there’s a new look for the blog and new posts coming

Hey guys and girls, the time passes by and here comes another year to live. Some people didn’t make it for this year and I send my condolences to all the families that lost someone special this past year.

Last year was a very tough year (at least for me) and there where a lot of changes in my life, including traveling, studying, and doing things I’ve never done in my whole life. I had good and bad moments, god and bad attitudes to other people from me, knew good and bad friends, met people through the internet that became special friends, and experienced a small time of knowing the “semi-independent-from-parents life”. But all of this experiences made my 2011 a special year, not all of those experiences where great, but they made it special.

Through all those things that happened I happen to be more conscious about what was happening in my life. I changed a lot since January 2011. I grew up an got more challenges than I could ever had back in my life. I had some amazing people that made me realize that I was growing up and was searching my own character. I happen to have more and more clear what I want to do in my life. Maybe they don’t read this, but I’d like to thank them for supporting me through all this process I had.

Since this is a new year, I’m gonna do the things that I have to do in order to accomplish my goals. I have a lot planed for this year, and as I said:

Bueno 2012… ahi te voy… si no me aguantas es tu culpa… ya te lo adverti… ya descanse… ya disfrute… ahora es mi turno de darte por todas las que me dio el 2011 hahahahaha

Well 2012… here I go… If you can’t handle me is your fault… I’ve warned you… I rested… I enjoyed… now It’s my turn to punch you for all 2011 made me LOL

God, help me pass this year really good #HereIGo

So to end this “supposed-to-be-short-but-it’s-not” long post, I’m gonna be doing some things this year to make my goals accomplished :)

I want to wish you a really really happy new year, God Bles You ALL and thanks for the views I’ve got from you this year. If I could send you a gift I would, but as I can’t I give you all my best wishes and blessings.

The song was finally released on March 28, 2011 along the official video and other similar tracks (instrumental track, track with fan-submitted solos, track with solos and heap comentaries) and a virtual edition of the song cover made with the staff of 3DiCD. A LIVE remix by Tim Exile for Lifeline was made on the release-day broadcast, but sadly it wasn’t recorded by neither of them (Imogen Heap/Tim Exile).

Imogen Heap draw during her broadcast on day 9 (March 22) her idea for the video. The drawing was put on eBay for bid on the price of £1.00 originally. Finally it was sold by the price of £540.00 and all the money went to the charity that Immy was suporting (Arquitecture for Humanity).

The video was filmed in a period of 2 or 3 days before the release. The video presents Immy’s almost-naked body painted in black or white with images or videos submitted by fans projected to her body. The song comes as a single track or as a Digital Bundle that you can find on her site. Listen to it, tell me what you think about the song and the video and we’re just gonna have to wait for #heapsong2 (non-official working name), although there are some rumors that she’s working with  deadmau5 on her new song. Just look what she tweeted.

Today is the great day where almost everyone in the world are going to get together for a cause… yep! I mean the, created by World Wild Fundation ‘Earth Hour’, an event that took place in 2007 on Sydney, Australia… here’s an extract of its story taken from http://www.earthhour.org/About.aspx.

Earth Hour started in 2007 in Sydney, Australia when 2.2 million individuals and more than 2,000 businesses turned their lights off for one hour to take a stand against climate change. Only a year later and Earth Hour had become a global sustainability movement with more than 50 million people across 35 countries/territories participating. Global landmarks such as the Sydney Harbour Bridge, CN Tower in Toronto, Golden Gate Bridge in San Francisco, and Rome’s Colosseum, all stood in darkness, as symbols of hope for a cause that grows more urgent by the hour.

In March 2009, hundreds of millions of people took part in the third Earth Hour. Over 4000 cities in 88 countries/territories officially switched off to pledge their support for the planet, making Earth Hour 2009 the world’s largest global climate change initiative.

On Saturday 27 March, Earth Hour 2010 became the biggest Earth Hour ever. A record 128 countries and territories joined the global display of climate action. Iconic buildings and landmarks from Asia Pacific to Europe and Africa to the Americas switched off. People across the world from all walks of life turned off their lights and came together in celebration and contemplation of the one thing we all have in common – our planet.

So this is a special time where you can become (a little more) closer to nature. To explain by my own words I’ve done a videolog or vBlog for this time… a short and quick one so it’s down below (They resulted really bad… LOL).

At 8:30 PM anywhere around the blog you have to turn off the lights and if you need light use a candel to iluminate the room.

Places like Eiffel Tower, Antigua Guatemala and others will turn off their lights to help the Earth by saving energy.

In Guatemala:

• Torre del Reformador will be turned off for an hour
• Rafael Landivar University will have an artistic festival and astronomic observation, organized by the Science and Astronomy Club.
• The Westin Camino Real Hotel will have a special moment with all their guests using candels.
• Antigua Guatemala is going to turn off the lights, in front of the Palacio de los Capitanes Generales will be a concentration and acustic music playing.

TRIVIA: Last year’s Earth Hour in Guatemala saved 5% of total electric energy in the capital and 2.5% in the interior of the country.
